This Action Document presents the key discussion points and agreed priority areas of actions generated as a result of the BES-Net’s Regional Trialogue for Central Asia and Azerbaijan on Land Degradation, Biodiversity and Climate Change held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 9-11 October 2019. The event aimed to strengthen the interface between science, policy and practice, and mainstream findings from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) thematic assessment reports into national policies, research, and planning processes.
