The case studies in this report include properties that were secured through a five-year collaboration between The Nature Conservancy and TD to conserve high-priority forests across the eastern seaboard of the United States, under the TD Forests program. This partnership has helped conserve over 19,000 acres in eight forest conservation projects. In addition to the important natural values protected at these sites, including habitat for rare species and corridors for wide-ranging mammals, these properties also provide ecological services to Americans and their communities. The purpose of this report is to explore these ecological services and their associated natural capital values.
