While the scientific literature on EbA highlights positive social, environmental and/or economic impacts and provides a strong basis for implementing EbA, there are some key gaps that would improve the evidence base.Some of the gaps may be addressed by those scie ntists working on biophysical science. This work could significantly add to the body of EbA evidence if reviewed in the context of its implications for human adaptation (currently this is of ten not explicitly mentioned).
