The Nature Conservancy’s digital marketing team is looking for a User Experience (UX) Design Intern to fill a paid 10-week Summer internship. This person will help ensure the design of TNC’s digital marketing properties are both engaging and easy to use among our core audiences. The intern can be a recent graduate (between 2020 and 2022) or a current graduate student. This position is home-based in the United States and will provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and real-world work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

As a UX Design Intern, you will be working on the UX Team to support their ongoing design and research efforts across The Nature Conservancy’s digital marketing and communications properties. This includes TNC’s flagship website, nature.org and email. You will work closely with a Digital Designer to execute end-to-end UX design process which includes conducting research, prototyping designs, drafting requirements, and conducting quality assurance (QA) reviews.

You’ll support the current UX Team’s day-to-day work, learning how to strategize, design and test web features that will go on our website. You will be reporting to the UX Team’s Digital Designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Assist the Digital Designer to design new website features/components to serve audience and business needs for nature.org. Execute end-to-end UX design process of research, design, testing and implementation
• Support the expansion and refinement of TNC’s UI library in Figma
