Description

This is an opportunity to embed user-centred approaches across our work in healthy and sustainable diets by managing codesign projects, working alongside the fundraising team to shape new projects and engaging employees and our end users in the improvement of existing projects.

This role comes at an exciting time in the development of our new and ambitious ten-year strategy at The Soil Association where we are looking for service design expertise to help drive and deliver on our ambition to restore nature, health and a safe climate, from the ground up.

About you

You’ll love working with people, designing creative and fun ways to explore complex topics. You will possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to innovate, motivate and present ideas creatively and visually. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of working in programme design, with a proven ability to execute design projects from inception to implementation; scale new solutions and evaluate the impact. It’s essential that you can demonstrate experience of leading user-centred design activities including focus groups, interviews and co-design workshops. You will need to be able to work flexibly under pressure and enjoy working under your own initiative to own and lead key projects. You’ll also need excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate group discussion and workshops with diverse groups of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Hours

30 hours per week, permanent contract
