Greenpeace International (GPI) Global HR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to focus on our People Committee (PC) Journey of Healing work package. The work package will be implemented within the internal Greenpeace framework – Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Safety (JEDIS). This is an opportunity to shape the future of an inclusive global environmental organization.

The appointed applicant will oversee and coordinate the update of the Greenpeace JEDIS (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Safety) Healing Journey, working closely with People Committee, National & Regional Offices, GPI, Crew, internal and external communities, in order to produce advice to the global organization and successfully introduce our Greenpeace Journey of Healing and processes to support change within the organization. 

The Senior Project Manager (Journey of Healing Work Package) reports to the PC Journey of Healing Work Package Leads. This is a full time role offered on a one-year contract.

 

In this role you will:

• Ensure the creation of clear project plan and deliverables.

• Set up an intersectional Journey of Healing working group, including external expertise, and create Terms of Reference including agreement on ways of working and budget.

• Deliver regular reports on progress of the project to the key stakeholders

• Manage the process, liaising with the Journey of Healing Work Package leads, working group and contributors.

• Lead and develop work plans, tracking risks and dependencies, maintaining alignment across the contributors, managing stakeholder needs and expectations and supporting implementation.

• Advise the Work Package lead on issues related to the implementation of the Journey of Healing for the global organization.

• Manage the development of organizational healing and knowledge input from and to the global organization.

• Be the lead in an environment of change where innovation and sharing of ideas and best practices is encouraged, in line with Greenpeace’s JEDIS ways of working, in order to enable the effective delivery of healing guidelines.

• Coordinate with Greenpeace NROs, GPI, Crew and volunteer and activist communities.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively within working groups by building strong relationships with (senior) stakeholders in various organizational areas.

• Develop and maintain internal and global networks of key stakeholder communities.
