Coordinate with state governments, key technical partners and institutions to ensure the project results are in accordance with the project document and the rules and procedures of the same are established.
Liaise with state governments on behalf of the IGF (WL)/NPD to ensure implementation and utilization of co-financing contributions, as committed.
Ensure that the project activities are aligned with the objectives of GWP, GSLEP and other such International programmes/partnerships.
Support the Wildlife Division, MoEFCC and UNDP in programme development under Biodiversity, Wildlife and NRM portfolio; help in engagement of consultants and organize consultations to finalize the PIFs especially in the context of GEF 7
Lead the process of alignment and convergence of the project with government programmes of other Ministries such as AYUSH, Science and Technology, Rural Development, Agriculture etc.
Coordinate with other divisions within the MoEFCC such as Mountain Division, Biodiversity Division and International Cooperation for alignment with schemes, programmes and projects of these divisions
Help in preparation of Project Implementation Review and other donor reports.
Guide the teams in the preparation of FACE forms and Annual Work Plans.
Help identify potential policy recommendations for contributing to various international conventions such as CITES, CMS, WHS and regional agreements like SAWEN
Support the PMU in conducting the Midterm and Terminal Evaluations of all projects under the NRM portfolio.
Perform any other administrative/technical/financial duties as requested by the IGF (WL)/NPD and Programme Manager, UNDP
