The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Employee Relations & Engagement function by providing administrative support, planning, administering, and evaluating employee engagement programs, including wellness, recognition, and other initiatives for TNC staff. Other duties include managing projects and initiatives by using excellent project management skills. The Program Coordinator must be organized with strong attention to detail, combined with interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization. This position reports to the Director of Employee Relations & Engagement but may be tasked with responsibilities from the Chief People Officer as the Executive Sponsor.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Responsible for managing, tracking, and overseeing engagement and wellness programs.
- Duties include collecting and analyzing data to measure program success on wellness initiatives and compiling an annual report that outlines the financial impact of the wellness program.
- May develop, plan and promote targeted and organization-wide wellness activities and programs designed to improve the well-being of our staff.
- Keep abreast of current best and emerging practices related to wellness initiatives and activities, develop a network of resources and contacts to further expand the employee Wellness Program. Explore ideas and opportunities to market and brand programs to gain awareness and increase staff participation.
- Ability to integrate wellness program initiatives into TNC’s culture and organizational mission.
