The expert should work in consultation with and under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager (PM). Specifically, hisher responsibilities are but not limited to the following:

• Assessment of institutional arrangements of all organizations (Government departments/donor organizations/NGOs) currently involved in biodiversity;
• Analyze current situation related to biodiversity management in BiH (organizational, capacity building and technical gaps and needs);
• Provides an overview of climate change adaptive capacity in biodiversity;
• Assessment of the impact of climate change on the most endangered species in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
• Assessment of impacts on mountain ecosystems by climatic models;
• Defining fast and short-term adjustment measures.
