The FAO Land and Water Division aims at enhancing the agricultural productivity and advancing the sustainable use of land and water resources through their improved governance, management, development and conservation. FAO is recruiting a Land and Water Officer to be responsible for day-to-day coordination and maintenance of AQUASTAT, FAO’s Global information system on water and agriculture, and related activities. He/she will also be responsible for the analytical appraisal, validation and dissemination of statistics, data and information in the field of water and agriculture.
