The internship will involve supporting the development of documentation to inform the Plenary on the work undertaken in the intersessional period, as well as identifying elements or developing options to help inform the potential role of policy support within the next work programme of the Platform up to 2030. In addition, through this internship, the applicant will undertake research that will help to inform the further development of products aimed at fulfilling IPBES policy support function.

To illustrate, the catalogue aims to facilitate access by decision makers to policy support tools and methodologies, and to provide guidance on how to promote and catalyse their further development. The work relating to the catalogue will involve populating it with information on policy support tools and methodologies of relevance to IPBES, based on already developed templates, including undertaking relevant background research, as well as supporting the development of material aimed at promoting and facilitating the use of the catalogue.
