NRDC is seeking an HR Communication Specialist to work with the Human Resources team in our Chicago office.

NRDC HR Communication helps all 700+ NRDCers know, do, and feel what’s required to optimize their employee experience, thereby helping NRDC meet its mission. The HR Communication Specialist will communicate our HR programs and practices via timely, high-quality, high-impact, on-brand content including announcements, articles, infographics, videos, and other formats.

• Content Creation: Gather and analyze information. Research, write, and develop high-quality, high-impact, on-brand content across multiple formats. Ensure brand, editorial, and message consistency across all content and channels.
• Channels Management: Create, curate, and deploy content across internal channels to ensure consistent and integrated messaging and presence.
• Communication Consulting and Campaign Creation: Collaborate with internal clients to gather information, advise on best practices and approaches, and support initiatives and programs. Create and execute communication plans and campaigns.
• Monitoring and Measurement: Track and report on readership, engagement, and business results. Make data-based recommendations for improving content, channels, and impact.
• Knowledge- and Relationship-Building. Cultivate a thorough knowledge of NRDC’s organization, strategy, and work. Build strong, positive working relationships with colleagues and clients across the organization.
