Description

The Development Coordinator on our California Loyal Giving team is responsible for various activities, including all aspects of high-volume correspondence production and management; assists with processing and recording gifts and acknowledgements, assisting donors with asset transfer; planning logistics and facilitation of team meetings; and, assisting with the planning of special events, primarily field trips, for prospects and donors. They may provide program information to prospects and donors, assist with writing development publications and proposals, and donor research.

The Development Coordinator uses the available fundraising management systems, Blackbaud Client Relationship Management and Microsoft Excel, to capture high-volume fundraiser activity, produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, and track prospects and donors. They apply established processes and practices in order to improve effectiveness. The Development Coordinator may have substantial contact with staff, donors, legal and financial professionals. They will provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems. They will perform administrative functions as required. The salary range for this position is $48,412 – $50,980.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an AA and 3 years of work experience, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Valid driver’s license.
