This is the third WFF Masterclass in the Four Betters series on Better Environment. The session will focus on bioeconomy and will be led by FAO’s Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment.
Session objectives:
- Enhance knowledge among youth of what bioeconomy is and what the opportunities for youth in the bioeconomy are.
- Provide an overview of FAO’s work on sustainable bioeconomy in the context of agrifood systems transformation.
- Provide an overview of concrete bioeconomy projects and initiatives led by youth.
- Highlight the key skills for youth to be involved in sustainable bioeconomy initiatives, innovations, and projects for agrifood systems transformation.
