Join us for this global presentation on Vietnam’s national ecosystem assessment, to celebrate the findings of the national ecosystem assessment and its impact on national decision-making processes.
Vietnam developed its national ecosystem assessment engaging over 200 knowledge holders and stakeholders, including practitioners, civil society and authors from various disciplines, such as natural and social sciences. Vietnam’s national ecosystem assessment focused on the national trends in biodiversity and ecosystem services provision across three key ecosystems – forests, wetlands, and coastal/marine ecosystems – and opportunities to improve policy, management and sustainable use of these across the various sectors that rely on the services they provide.
