Healthy seas are our natural allies when it comes to protecting the climate and preserving biodiversity. But her condition continues to deteriorate. The oceans around the world need better protection and less pressure to use them. Ensuring this is the goal of our marine conservation campaign team.

These are your tasks

• You are responsible for press work in the marine protection team and ensure the visibility of the campaign work in the media public.
• You keep an eye on the current news situation and take on ongoing operational tasks such as media monitoring, developing and maintaining press contacts, and coordinating print publications.
• You write texts on the subject of the oceans, e.g. for the website or press texts for journalists.
• You process press inquiries and actively position the campaign topics in the media. You prepare your team colleagues for interviews and work out statements with them.
• You develop target group-oriented communication concepts and strategies, implement them and check their effectiveness together with digital campaigner.
• You coordinate with our communications teams, international colleagues and the media coordinators of the other teams.
• You strengthen Greenpeace’s positive image and arouse interest in topics and stories that go beyond current news relevance.
