The Seasonal Easement Monitor will be responsible for coordinating our annual compliance monitoring on properties in west and central Texas. Travel to these properties is required, some are remote and out of cell service range. Once on site, ability to complete on the ground survey of ranch activities is necessary. Interviewing the landowner and/or land manager is necessary to understand the land practices and current management activities to determine if the property is in compliance with the terms of the conservation easement. Should compliance issues or violations be discovered during the monitoring visit, the information will be relayed to the appropriate staff member to follow up on the resolution of the violation.

• BA/BS in science-related field and 1-year related experience in custodial and ecological land management or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience recognizing plant and animal species.
• Experience in ecological land management principles and concepts such as conservation easements.
• Experience working in a team environment.
