The Renewable Energy Markets Associate assists in the outreach, development, and management of strategic partnerships with companies and other stakeholders in the renewables sector. The Markets Associate works with Global Climate Change and regional team members to design, implement, and direct projects, build and facilitate internal and external networks, conduct research and analysis, write reports, and conduct presentations and other activities in support of the team’s efforts. Some travel will be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Provides strategic analysis in support of TNC’s conservation agenda for renewable energy deployment.
- Provides economic analysis of conservation opportunities related to renewable energy markets
- Designs, implements and directs complex and diverse projects encompassing multiple programs.
- Incorporates cross disciplinary knowledge to support program objectives.
- Represents TNC in industry partnerships, conferences, and other external forums.
- Supports outreach, development, and management of strategic partnerships
- Serves as a team leader for assigned projects.
- Requires willingness and ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
