At the Rainforest Alliance we are looking for a results-oriented monitoring and evaluation / project manager to lead and execute monitoring and evaluation (M&E) projects with key company partners in the cocoa sector. The manager will direct and implement the projects, overseeing the M&E design, data collection, analysis, and communication; the manager will also be in charge of managing and reporting activities to the company partner. The manager will supervise a small team of individuals that will assist in field data collection and data analysis.

The manager will support the Markets Innovation team of Rainforest Alliance to deliver tailored supply chain solutions that, in collaboration between the company and the Rainforest Alliance, will deliver impact for people and nature in the cocoa sector.Netherlands, UK, Cote d Ivoire, Various locations

Responsibilities:

• Embody the Rainforest Alliance’s Core Values of Impact, Change, Collaboration, Openness and Trust and as they form the basis of the behaviours we demonstrate;
• Oversee and manage existing supply chain monitoring and evaluation projects with companies in the cocoa sector;
• Communicate key M&E findings to company partner and relevant RA internal teams; contextualize M&E findings with insight from RA teams to add value to the company and to Rainforest Alliance’s mission
• Support and advise on M&E systems and indicators for new and existing Rainforest Alliance projects;
• Manage project budgets and timelines, and identify and address project management needs; and
• The Manager will lead a small team of individuals responsible for coordinating data collection and data analysis; carries/y out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws; responsibilities include hiring, mentoring and evaluating, guiding professional development opportunities, and addressing employee relations issues.
