Greenpeace International (GPI) is seeking a Global Finance Systems Applications Manager for a key role within the International Finance Unit, working with the Head of Global Financial Systems.

Responsible for deploying and maintaining Global Financial Systems (financial ERP solutions and companion products), and for providing end-user training and support, you will make an important contribution to the delivery of efficient and effective systems that enable financial control, consolidation and reporting within all National and Regional Organizations (NROs) and across Greenpeace globally.

In this role you will:

• Actively contribute to the development and realization of the Financial Systems strategy, ensuring the implementation of financial ERP solutions – to achieve a global finance system enabling worldwide, unified financial management and information.
• Develop, manage and drive implementation projects with a methodological approach, in close cooperation with project leaders, in order to ensure the development and implementation of Global Finance System Initiatives.
• Capture, analyze and agree on business and functional specifications from NROs, in order to have accurate insights in the user requirements as input for system design and implementation.
• Translate user requirements into a detailed requirement specification (design) document, adapt and/or add additional modules to (standardized) ERP solutions and companion products, and develop and provide implementation plans based on design documents including objectives, work, timing and training.
• Build test plans based on specifications in the design document, prepare test environment(s), and complete various test activities such as system testing, quality control and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Drive realization of the planned implementations by installing, configuring and optimizing applications and solutions, ensuring compliance and identifying and implementing adoptions of new financial applications.
• Perform onsite support to end-users as the system will launch and provide ongoing end-user support and training by acting as 2nd line support for functional and operational issues and questions.
• Continually develop and strengthen positive working relationships with key (project) collaborators and provide periodic updates.
• Identify, assess and call out risk as required, in order to mitigate risk and contribute to appropriate actions.
• Find opportunities for optimization, improvement, development and change, initiating and agreeing new ways of working and encouraging change and use of best practices.
