The Zoological Park Maintainer, Electric Shop, Bronx Zoo will work on our Facilities Operations team.
Under general supervision performs responsible work in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems including but not limited to heating, cooling, electric and pneumatic controls at various locations.

- Performs or supervises the performance of responsible general maintenance or specialized work with regard to electrical and shop work.
- Repairs and maintains all types of work, pertaining to the electrical field, and hearing, ventilation and pumping systems.
- Required to display proficiency and skill in the use of tools associated with the electrical field.
- Keeps records and prepares reports on work performed and material used.
- Performs related work as required.
- Must work from a 40-foot ladder.
