You will be provided with you with the challenge of working on high profile conservation projects, where your work really makes a difference to the field of conservation in an area aligned to our strategic aims and broader global initiatives.  Your key areas of responsibility will include providing technical, analytical and administrative support on a wide range of live and development projects, undertaking statistical and spatial analyses using R and GIS tools, background research, drafting reports and papers and producing communications materials.  You will also have the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops and other specialist meetings on behalf of UNEP-WCMC both in the UK and internationally.  In addition to training and development opportunities, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including generous pension contributions.

You will hold a degree in biodiversity informatics, biological sciences, geography, ecology, environmental sciences, economics, social sciences or a related discipline and will possess strong technical and analytical skills. You will also have great organisational, communications and planning skills. Commitment to producing high quality outputs is also an essential requirement.
