Bioversity International is a global research-for-development organization that delivers scientific evidence, management practices and policy options to use and safeguard agricultural and tree biodiversity to attain sustainable global food and nutrition security. Biodiversity International works with partners in low-income countries in different regions where agricultural and tree biodiversity can contribute to improved nutrition, resilience, productivity and climate change adaptation.
Bioversity's internship programme has three major objectives:
- to offer young graduate or undergraduate students an opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in their field of specialization;
- to promote a better understanding of Bioversity and the CGIAR system;
- and to provide groups at headquarters and in the regions with the assistance of outstanding young students specializing in fields relevant to Bioversity's activities.
